Gayle's Victoria Day Afternoon Tea:

Welcome to my brand new blog that I am naming:  Gayle's Artful Afternoon Tea's

At long last, an opportunity to share on my own blog. ~ My name is Gayle and with my new blog I am so looking forward to having the joyful fun of happily sharing my various, themed afternoon tea parties, loveliness and fun with all of you!...

Here is my reprise post from Wanda Lee's, The Plumed Pen blog. Because Wanda Lee was a guest at my recent tea party, we chose to re-post  her pictures. Whereas she often posts about my teas on her own blog, for this initial inaugural blog post, we simply chose to clip and paste, using the same pictures. ~ Then we  also tweaked her post, by simply adjusting the blog post's wording.

These photos were actually taken in my own home, the apartment that I share with my new husband Chris..

Come on in...

Would you care for cream and sugar, or perhaps, honey and lemon in your tea?... Maybe  you prefer your tea black?...

Whatever your preference, I  have just the offerings to suit your individual palate and tastes... And all  laid out in vignettes as varied as each of my individually themed afternoon teas.

I adore the fine art of food presentation and the display of fine tea accouterments. ~ My collections of elegant antique silver, linens, crystal, stemware, flowers, candles and fine porcelain and china. Also my antique teapots, teacups, coffee pots, coffee cups, and my collections of exquisite antique serve ware are always going to be ready to be shared with all of you via my new blog.

I can hardly wait!

As well as being a Victoria day tea, my recent afternoon tea party was first and foremost, dear young Ruby's birthday tea celebration... Happy Birthday Ruby!

Peeking through the glass doors of my china cabinet, you can just barely catch a wee glimpse of  an absolutely exquisite antique set of Kelly green, white and gold trimmed dishes and a  matching teapot (in the picture above)...

Oh my!... I just love those amazingly lovely antique pretties. My Ainsley teapot is one of my all time favorites, don't you also just love pretty dishes?

P.S.~ Is the picture or image here on my blog perhaps appearing too large on your computer screen?

Here is a possible suggestion... Because we all have different computer configurations, different web browsers, various computers and settings apparently you can also further adjust the image sizes if you wish to occasionally, for your viewing pleasure and greater ease...

Simply by pressing the right keyboard buttons...Voila!

Here is how:
*By simultaneously pressing the reduce or the enlargement image settings on your own computer keyboards.   Just press the Ctrl ( central shift) button ( on the lower left hand side of your computer keyboard), and also at the same time,  also press the " - " button to (reduce/minus) the image size...

Or alternatively once again, simply press the Ctrl ( central shift) button and then again the"+" (plus) buttons at the same time ( to enlarge the image size)... Those "-" or "+" buttons are located near the right hand, upper top portion of your computer keyboard.

This will then reduce the size of the image, or enlarge the images alternatively, as needs be to suit your preference.  You choose. ~ Hope this also helps my friends. Thanks.

A little footnote, a message regarding my new blog:

My friend Wanda Lee of The Plumed Pen blog, she has kindly offered to initially co-create, and to also help me with posting my pictures.  So although this blog appears ( as far as the blogger profile and registration, which is currently under her name and also under her Google blog account). Although it appears as if it is her blog, nonetheless, actually it is mine. ~ This new blog is ours only in as much as she will be assisting me initially, (whereas I am not as of yet, at all computer savvy)... In fact, I am so excited because I just got a new computer for the first time ever, so please bear with me as I learn how to use it. ~ Thanks for visiting.

With warmest regards from,
 Gayle

  2. Looks like a lot of fun! Tea parties are always fun when you're with the right people. I'm thinking of doing something similar for the Christmas although it will be in one of the Los Angeles event venues so, not as intimate as I would like it to be. Anyways, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
